Tray dryer or ventilator

This dryer or ventilator can be used for drying or ventilating small amounts of (basic) seed. The dryer consists of a standing cabinet in which drying trays with seed can be placed. A ventilator sucks heated on conditioned air and distributes this over the trays. When the tray is placed an inlet valve is automatically opened. This inlet valve distributes the air under the tray and blows it through the seed. This assures the seed is dried optimally in small amounts.

Drying trays: The drying trays consists of a multiplex frame and is provided with a mesh bottom (standard mesh size 0,6 mm, smaller by request). The trays can be made in almost any size. The trays are suitable for loose seed and bags of seed. Ideal for flower-, basic- and small amounts of treated seed.

Modulair: The standard tray dryer is suitable for 8 drying trays. The dryers can easily be placed next to each other, so the capacity can easily be increased. Heating, conditioned or air drying installations and automation are optional.

Application: ventilation / Conditioning; air from the room is blown through the seed. · The dryer can be placed in a conditioned room. The air in the room is sucked in and blown through the seed. The seed (loose, in bags or in trays) soon reaches the desired moisture and temperature, corresponding with the conditioned the air in the room. . The dryer can be driven into the operation room. The air from this room is sucked in. The seed soon reaches the desired RH and temperature of the room and can be packed or processed.

Drying: This can be done in several ways.

1: The dryer can be placed in a normal room. The air from the room is blown through the seed. The product will dry gradually, depending on the air condition.

2: The dryer is provided with an electronic heater. The dryer can be placed in a normal room. The air from the room is heated (limited) and blown through the seed. The product will dry faster. The product is heated.

3:The dryer can be placed in a conditioned room. The dry and cool air is sucked from this room. The seed can be control dried with a lower end temperature.

· Measuring and regulating can be done by one central measurepoint or a measurepoint separated each tray.

Central measure point The desired RH is configured. The RH of the air from the seed is measured from the seed at one place. When reaching the desired RH the flow is gradually reduced. If the desired RH is reached at the measure point, the drying / ventilation for all trays will stop. Measure values are registered with special software and can be logd. Separated each tray The desired RH is configured for each tray. The RH of the air from the seed is measured for each tray. Every air vent is provided with a slide with an engine. When the desired RH is reached the slide starts to close gradually, so the air in the tray automatically and gradually reduces. The seed in the tray is dry when the air supply is stopped.
